Ningbo Huizhen Academy’s English Camp 2025: A Journey of Discovery and Growth

In July 2025, 40 Ningbo Huizhen Academy students joined an English Exchange program that significantly impacted their academic and personal growth. This program immersed students in Hong Kong’s Education style, provided valuable insights into different learning approaches for future academic pursuits.

During their stay, students explored a diverse range of Hong Kong’s educational venues and attractions. Victoria Peak and Ocean Park stood out as favorites, both receiving impressive 3.67/5.0 ratings for their breathtaking views and thrilling experiences that created lasting memories.

The educational itinerary included visits to prestigious institutions: the University of Hong Kong for academic exploration, St. Paul’s Convent School’s 170th Anniversary Open Day, Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education for specialized learning, and Hong Kong Science Park for technology immersion.

Cultural experiences were equally rich. Students visited the M+ Museum for the Picasso for Asia Conversation, Tsim Sha Tsui and Space Museum for science exploration, Kowloon Walled City for historical insights, and Causeway Bay Shopping Area for an authentic urban experience.

Students also experienced diverse dining options, from traditional tea restaurants to modern international cuisine, which broadened their culinary horizons and cultural understanding.

The comprehensive curriculum, supported by HKU tutors who achieved the highest satisfaction rating of 4.88/5.0, provided students with rigorous academic challenges while maintaining an engaging and supportive learning environment.

The program created rich opportunities for cultural exchange through multiple channels. Students engaged in meaningful interactions via the Learning Buddies Program that facilitated peer-to-peer interactions, formed direct connections with local students during the St. Paul’s School Exchange, experienced informal cultural immersion through authentic Tea Restaurant Experiences, and developed teamwork skills through various collaborative Group Activities. These diverse social learning opportunities helped students build cross-cultural communication skills while forming lasting friendships. Everyone loved the program, many students are thinking about studying in Hong Kong in the future.

The 2025 English Exchange Program has established a new standard for international educational experiences at Ningbo Huizhen Academy.
