After the conclusion of the pandemic, the Summer Professional Teacher Exchange Program has recommenced. This program successfully engaged 30 teachers from Deyang and 100 teachers from Shaoguan.

The Shaoguan program was conducted in two cohorts, from the 9th to the 15th of July, and from the 16th to the 22nd of July, each consisting of 50 teachers. Out of the total 100 teachers, 46 were from primary schools, 44 were from secondary schools, and a number of teachers affiliated with the National Institution of Education and the Faculty Development Centre also participated.

Moreover, an additional 30 Chinese Language teachers from Deyang No. 5 Middle School in Sichuan participated in a specialized Non-English teacher program, which took place from the 9th to the 13th of July.

The program encompassed various educational aspects, including teaching, learning, and assessment, with a notable emphasis on formative assessment. The participants also had the opportunity to attend presentations and workshops on topics such as holistic well-being, visit the Hong Kong History Museum, explore strategies to enhance student engagement, as well as engage in cultural exchanges and observe classroom activities conducted by students and teachers from St. Paul’s Convent School.
